How Can I Help?

As Christians, we are called to help those in need. How each person can help will vary wildly. Alan and I decided to make our mission of helping children our entire life, but that isn’t feasible for everyone (though if you haven’t considered it, you should!). Don’t worry. There are still many ways to help children or help those who help children.

First and foremost, the most impactful thing you can do is regularly lift our kids and those who care for them up in prayer. Pray for the foster care system. Pray for those in government making huge decisions that affect how well we can care for our kids. Pray fervently that everything that transpires is in their best interest. Pray for our kids’ families, as well, that they can meet their goals and that reunification or adoption or whatever plan has been laid in place is going to be the best path for each kid.

Cottage 2 Activity Fund

Your donations will go toward giving our kids as normal a childhood as possible, while they're with us. Things like going out to eat after church on Sunday or seeing a movie on the weekends get very expensive very fast and we can't do those things without you. Every tiny bit helps.

  • Offer to babysit our bio kids so we can get away for a date night and some self-care
